Burton’s “The B” Tour hits Denver

9 10 2009

Burton’s “The B” Tour rolled through Denver on Thursday, October 8th to a packed Ogden Theater, as shreds from far and wide showed up to check out the latest film and meet some of Burton’s best pro riders. Halfpipe heros like Kevin Pearce, Danny Davis and Mason Aguirre (above) were on hand to sign autographs and help celebrate the start of another snowboard season in style. Heads were hyped for not only the screening of “The B”, but also the regional video “Think Positive”, featuring many of Colorado’s young up-and-coming riders.

The Ogden is home to hundreds of good events throughout the year.

Kevin Pearce and Danny Davis holdin’ down the sharpie situation.

Gabi Viteri, one of Burton’s young female riders, making her mark.

Members of the Boulder Freeride Team with their autographed posters to cherish for life.

Longtime Breckenridge local Chad Otterstrom and the lovely Celia Miller made it down from the mountains.

Many of Denver’s sexy ladies were there to check out the scene.

A full house enjoying the show.

The movie is a good mix of urban jibbing and cool city shots…

Mixed with the highest level of big mountain riding from Burton’s powerhouse riders like Nicolas Muller.

Satellite Boardshop’s Raul Pinto has been hard at work this month throwing events seemingly almost every day.

Once the movies were over, it was time to get down to business. Kevin Pearce knows what’s up.

Saw this on the way to the afterparty… Nice.

Denver scumbag staple The Shag Lounge hosted the mob of drunken partygoers ready to send it. DJ’s Amen and Sounds Supreme held down the turntables.

There was actually a line outside to get in for the first time ever; it was crazy. Some of the reasons why…

Yup. Denver loc Erica Yost looking good as always.

Souls of Mischief’s DJ Lex and A Plus even showed up to hang with the crew and get ready for their show the following night at the Marquis.

Man, there should be a Burton party every night!

Proclaimed the biggest “snowboard city” on the tour, Denver truly did not disappoint. A great mix of pro riders, wannabes, industry dudes, groupie girls and just plain ol’ fashioned snowboard fans made for an great evening of entertainment and anticipation for the upcoming winter season. If you’re lucky enough to live in one of the cities remaining on the tour, don’t miss out. Check out The B Tour page on the Burton website for the dates and info, or look for “The B” in stores this fall.
